About Manny's landscaping & Carpenter

Mid-June, and the sun does not leave the ridge until after eight, which makes for long working evenings in Crossville. Manny's landscaping & Carpenter uses them — mowing, trimming out fence lines and around posts, edging walks and drives, and clearing the yard debris that piles up in a growing month. Grass on this plateau climbs quick after a warm rain, and it takes real trimming to hold the corners a mower will never reach. The satisfaction is in the detail: a fence row cut level with the lawn, a mailbox post with no ring of tall grass at its foot. When the light finally goes red over the western edge of the mountain, the yard behind you looks finished all the way out to its edges.
