About Landscape & engine repair

By two o'clock on a July afternoon in Cordova the light comes down flat and the shade under a water oak is worth real money. Landscape & engine repair works those hours anyway — mowing on a rotation that keeps Bermuda from getting ahead of itself, edging the aprons, trimming around mailboxes and steps, and blowing the clippings back into the turf where they do some good. Out toward the hills the lots stretch longer and the ground turns rockier, and cutting them right is mostly a matter of knowing what height to leave behind. Grass kept a little taller through the heat holds both its color and its roots. A yard still green in the worst week of summer is the whole argument for doing it this way.
