Kellis Vegetation and Turf Management

About Kellis Vegetation and Turf Management

July in Shelby County is when everything green decides to take the place over, privet crowding the fencerows, kudzu climbing the road bank, brush creeping in from the treeline. Kellis Vegetation and Turf Management works both sides of that, keeping turf mowed and even while cutting back the overgrowth along fencelines, ditches and property edges before it takes hold. Turf work here means regular cutting, edging and trimming, plus keeping grass in shape through a heat that does not let up until October. Clearing work means brush, weeds and rough ground brought back to something a person can walk across or run a mower over. On acreage outside Columbiana toward Wilsonville and Westover, the line between kept and wild has to be redrawn every single summer.
