About Cleveland’s Lawn Care, and Landscaping

October arrives in Choccolocco as fog in the hollows — thick at daylight, gone by nine, leaving the pin oaks and sweetgums to start letting go. Cleveland's Lawn Care, and Landscaping reads that turn in the calendar and moves the work with it: the tapering last mows, leaves cleared off turf and out of the beds, shrubs shaped back before dormancy, fresh mulch laid where the summer thinned it. A bed with a clean cut edge is what holds a whole yard together, and it shows most in fall, when the color is on the ground instead of overhead. Mowing, edging and trimming keep their weekly place through all of it. The rounds run across Choccolocco and on into Oxford, Golden Springs, Saks and Weaver.
