About Grunt Works LLC

By August a Calera afternoon is one long cicada drone, red clay baking at the lip of every driveway and air thick enough to lean on. Grunt Works LLC handles the part nobody romanticizes — pushing through midday heat to mow, edge, trim the ditch line and cut back the overgrowth a wet June encouraged. Zoysia and Bermuda both want a steady hand in that stretch, and steadiness is the entire method: same height, same pattern, no skipping the awkward corners. The payoff arrives at the end, when the blower clears the walk and the yard suddenly looks half a size larger. Hard hours, plain results, a place left better than it was found.
