Kerr's Lawn Care

About Kerr's Lawn Care

July on the mountain shows up as a shimmer over the blacktop, and by midday the only cool left anywhere is under the old oaks. Kerr's Lawn Care works Boaz through that heat — mowing early, trimming close around trunks and fence posts, edging the drive so the line stays true, and blowing the walk down when the cutting is finished. Shade-grown grass and full-sun grass are two different animals, and most yards in this town hold both. When the year turns, leaf cleanup takes the lawn back down to green before winter sets on it. Late in the day, when the light goes long and gold, a freshly cut yard holds all of it.
