Universal Lawn Care

About Universal Lawn Care

Late August in Ensley is a hard, bright thing. The air over Village Creek stands still until four o'clock, when the anvil clouds finally stack up west of town and the first cool gust comes through. Universal Lawn Care works the shoulders of that day, early and late, mowing, edging the strip along the curb, running the trimmer tight to porch piers and chain link, then blowing every walk clean before the rain can paste the clippings down. Yards here sit on old blocks with narrow drives and deep back lots, so a lot of the job is done on foot with the string trimmer swinging. The reward is simple and public: a street of houses that all look looked-after, holding that line until the next visit.
