About Sunrise Lawn Service, LLC

Fog pools in Jones Valley before the sun clears the ridge, and that is the hour Sunrise Lawn Service, LLC is already hitching the trailer. There is a specific pleasure in the first cut of the morning, dew still silvering the bermuda, the blade leaving a dark wake behind it down the streets of Woodlawn and East Lake. The work is mowing and edging, trimming close along fences and foundations, sweeping the clippings off the sidewalk, then leaves in the fall and beds cut back in the spring. By the time Birmingham's afternoon heat arrives, whole blocks have been squared away and the truck is loaded again. Grass kept on a steady rhythm holds its shape, and holding it is the entire point.
