About Simmons grass and trees LLC

October turns the yards in Fairfield and Midfield gold and then buries them, one week to the next, until the grass underneath is only a rumor. Simmons grass and trees LLC works both halves of that — mowing and edging the lawns, trimming and pruning the trees standing over them, clearing leaves and limbs so a yard comes through the cold still looking like itself. Grass and trees keep different calendars, and knowing when to leave one alone is as useful as knowing when to cut the other. Over toward Brighton the old shade trees are enormous and worth every hour they take. A raked, cut, cleaned-up yard in late fall is one of the better sights of the year.
