Green Care Landscape

About Green Care Landscape

In March the carved cedars along Shoal Creek in Orr Park come back out of the gray, their faces damp and dark, and Montevallo starts thinking about grass again. Green Care Landscape opens the season the way it ought to be opened — the first cut left a little high, winter debris hauled off the turf, bed borders re-cut where the cold blurred them. After that it is rhythm: mow, trim, edge, repeat, week after week while the days lengthen and the yards thicken up. A lawn that gets steady attention in spring is the one still holding on in the flat heat of July. That is the whole plan, and around here it is a good one.
