L&L Turf Management

About L&L Turf Management

Baileyton sits high on the Cullman County ridge, where hayfields run to the treeline and you can watch weather cross the valley long before it arrives. L&L Turf Management works that open country in late June, when the fields are cut and the smell of drying hay rides every breeze. Yards up here are wide, so mowing is the bulk of the day, with trimming around barns, posts and mailboxes to finish the outlines. Turf on the plateau takes the summer well when it is cut on a schedule instead of whenever it gets tall. There is something satisfying about a big yard laid down in even lines with the ridge falling away behind it.
