Hammons Outdoors

About Hammons Outdoors

Summer afternoons east of Auburn, thunderheads stack up white over the red clay hills and everybody watching the sky starts doing math on the daylight left. Hammons Outdoors works against that clock, finishing the mowing, trimming and cleanup before the first drops hit the pavement. Lee County grass grows in the heat and drinks the storms, which means the calendar barely slows between April and October. A yard cut on time with the clippings cleared has a composed look to it, even under a low gray sky. When the rain moves off and steam comes up off the road, the day picks up right where it left off.
