About GreenMan Lawn & Irrigation Specialist, LLC

August in Athens is a test: three weeks without rain, the ground going pale, the cicadas at full volume by two in the afternoon. GreenMan Lawn & Irrigation Specialist, LLC works yards straight through it, mowing high to hold moisture, edging, trimming, and clearing the dead thatch a dry spell leaves behind. Grass here will sulk in a drought and then come roaring back on one good week of rain; the trick is carrying it through the middle. It means something to keep a lawn green while the pasture across the road turns the color of a paper sack. Then September arrives, the nights cool, and everything forgives you.
