About A & R Land Services

At daybreak Point A Lake lies flat enough to hold the pines upside down, and that is the hour A & R Land Services goes to work. The days run on mowing, string trimming and edging across Andalusia yards, finished with the blow-down that turns a cut lawn into a done one. On the rare south Alabama morning when a freeze glazes the county and stiffens the gravel, the same trucks turn to scraping drives, clearing walks and laying down sand. A driveway opened before the coffee cools is its own kind of good news. Between the river lakes north of town and the pine flats south of it, there is always ground here worth keeping in order.
