About Andalusia Gardens

Come March the Square softens all at once — dogwood, azalea, the courthouse lawn going green again overnight — and Andalusia Gardens is out early in the middle of it. The work runs from mowing, trimming and edging to bed care and the cleanups that get a yard ready for the run of green ahead. When a cold snap does reach this far south and leaves ice across walks and drives, the crew switches to clearing and sanding until things are passable. Spring in Covington County is generous; it only asks that somebody keep pace with it. Keeping pace, neatly, is the entire job.
