About SuperSports Athletic Turfcare

A ballfield in the foothills has to be ready by first pitch no matter what the week's weather did to it. SuperSports Athletic Turfcare works turf around Altoona and the Etowah County towns close by — mowing athletic fields and lawns, trimming and edging, and keeping playing surfaces even, firm and clear. Field grass gets asked for more than a home lawn does: cut low, run on hard, and expected back on its feet by Friday. Spring and fall are the busy ends of the year, with mowing patterns laid down fresh and edges cut sharp along the skin and the sidelines. Under the lights, a field somebody has been minding all week looks like the whole town's front yard.
