About Simmions Lawn Services.

Summer comes early to Alexander City, and the grass knows it first. Along the old mill streets off Broad, where the light falls through water oaks, a yard can go from tidy to shaggy in one warm week. Simmions Lawn Services works those weeks the way they ought to be worked — mowing in long, straight passes, edging the walk until the concrete shows a line you could follow with your eye, trimming the fence corners no mower will ever reach. Red clay and Sougahatchee bottomland grow a stubborn kind of green, and there is real satisfaction in leaving it cut level and blown off clean. By evening the yard is quiet again and the mower sound has moved on down the block.
