Kirk's Lawn Maintenance

About Kirk's Lawn Maintenance

A lawn is not a project; it is a long conversation, and in Alabaster it runs from the first March cut to the last leaf pass in December. Kirk's Lawn Maintenance keeps up its end of it — mowing on schedule, edges kept honest, trimming around the pines and the fence line, pine straw and clippings cleared off so the turf can breathe. A yard will tell you what it needs if you visit it often enough: thin in the shade, hungry in the open, quick after rain. Tending the same ground week after week is how it stays even rather than merely mowed. That is maintenance, and in a Shelby County growing season it is very nearly a year-round habit.
