About Cut-N-Edge AL

The town is named for a white stone, and there is something of that stone in a good edge — a line so clean it looks quarried rather than trimmed. Cut-N-Edge AL spends its Alabaster afternoons chasing exactly that: the driveway seam, the sidewalk shoulder, the crescent around every mailbox post, all of it squared off while the grass is dry enough to throw clean. Mowing comes first, then the edging, then the blower until not a blade of clipping is left on the concrete. Stand at the curb afterward and the yard reads sharper than it did an hour ago, though nothing was added to it — only defined. That is the whole trade, and on a good day it is nearly satisfying enough to be a hobby.
