The Lawn Guru

About The Lawn Guru

Wind comes across the flats from the direction of Big Lake and moves through the spruce in one long exhale. Under those trees the grass grows thin and uneven, and getting it right takes attention: the right cutting height, trimming close to trunks and posts, edging where lawn gives way to gravel. The Lawn Guru takes on that shaded, patchy Wasilla ground along with the open sunny stretches, and clears the clippings and blown-in needles afterward. A yard that holds its line under old spruce is something worth standing back to look at. Calls come from Wasilla, Meadow Lakes, Big Lake and Houston.
