About Frostline Land Management

By October the ground around Knik begins to set — first at night, then most of the day — and the grass gives up its color a shade at a time. Frostline Land Management works that closing window: the final mowing, trimming back anything that will flop over under weight, edging, and a full clearing of the yard before the ground goes hard. What is left standing in fall is what you fight in spring, so the work is worth the cold fingers. There is a particular quiet to a yard that has been finished for the year — swept, short, squared away. Then the valley does what the valley does, and the property waits it out in good order.
