Palmer Plowing & Lawn Care

About Palmer Plowing & Lawn Care

At four in the morning in January, the Glenn Highway is a thin line of headlights and the Matanuska wind is moving snow across the driveways faster than it ever fell. Palmer Plowing & Lawn Care meets that hour, plowing drives and opening the path out to the road so the first trip of the day starts without a shovel in anyone's hands. When the valley thaws, the blades come off and the mowers go on: cutting, trimming, edging, holding lawns even through the long-lit months. Two seasons, one property, and no gap in between them. There is a particular pride in a drive cleared before dawn, black and open while the rest of the street is still white.
