About Fishhook Tree Services LLC

North of town, Fishhook Road threads between birch stands and dark spruce on its way toward the mountains, and the driveways cut through that timber fill with snow differently than open ground, catching deep in the shade where the trees block the low winter sun for most of the day. Fishhook Tree Services LLC clears those wooded driveways and the parking areas around cabins and homes set back in the trees, working narrow cuts where a blade has only a few feet of clearance on either side. Branches bent low with fresh snow get knocked clear so trucks and plows can pass beneath them, and walkways between buildings get shoveled down to bare ground. Where snowmelt refreezes on shaded stretches of driveway, the crew breaks and sands the ice so the grade holds traction. It's quiet work among the trees, done well before the short daylight fades back into the timber's shadow.
