Brewsters Wood

About Brewsters Wood

Kodiak earns its Emerald Isle nickname every summer, when rain and sea fog turn the hillsides above St. Paul Harbor a green so deep it looks painted. Brewsters Wood offers lawn care on that soaked, fertile island, mowing grass that never seems to stop growing and trimming it back from walks, fences and stairs. The wind turbines on Pillar Mountain turn slowly overhead, the fishing fleet comes and goes from the harbor, and street by street the town is kept trim. Between showers, a fresh-cut Kodiak lawn shines like wet jade under a silver sky. It is island work, matched to a place where green is the natural color of everything.
