Snow Wizard Snow Plowing

About Snow Wizard Snow Plowing

Down around Beaver Loop and the quieter spruce-lined streets back from the bluff, Kenai's winter has a different rhythm than the water's edge, and Snow Wizard Snow Plowing works those neighborhood loops and driveways through it. Cook Inlet's moods reach even this far back from the water, sending in snow on a stiff wind one day and leaving the air dead calm and bitter cold the next, each kind asking something different of a plow route. Long driveways back here often curve through spruce that block the wind but hold shadow and cold long after the street out front has warmed a degree or two, so ice lingers in exactly the spots a driver doesn't expect it. Clearing a loop full of driveways before the school buses start their run means starting well before the low winter sun even threatens the horizon. There's a plain kind of magic in turning down a street buried under last night's snow and leaving it a clean, driveable line by the time anyone's awake to notice.
