About Rooted Landscaping

The first hard frost north of Kenai arrives in the dark, and by sunrise the yards toward Salamatof stand silver and stiff, every blade outlined. Rooted Landscaping works the whole arc leading up to that morning: mowing and trimming through the green months, edging beds, then the fall clearing that readies a yard for freeze-up. Muskeg and black spruce press in at the property lines out this way, and holding a clean boundary between wild ground and kept ground is most of what the job asks. When the grass finally stops for the year, what remains is the outline — deliberate, tidy, resting until the light returns. Come May it is all still there, and the season opens ahead of the work instead of behind it.
