Landscape Alaska

About Landscape Alaska

Out the road the highway runs right alongside the water, and July light lasts so long that evening mowing is an ordinary thing to do. Landscape Alaska works those far-flung lots — mowing, trimming, edging, hauling a yard clean — from Eagle Beach and the Herbert River back in toward town. Lawns out there are carved from spruce and beach grass, with Lynn Canal opening wide past the treeline and nothing in a hurry. Distance means every visit has to count, so the cut goes thorough and the edges get finished before the truck moves on. It's a long drive for a straight line of mown grass, and worth it every time.
