About Juneau Outdoor Services

January mornings here begin in the dark, with the Taku coming down cold and straight off the icefield and every yard locked under it. Juneau Outdoor Services waits that season out and returns in April, pulling the winter's wreckage off the grass along North Douglas and up toward the Eaglecrest road. Then the mowing starts and doesn't quit until the light does — cutting, trimming, edging, hauling the clippings away week after week. A lawn that spent five months buried looks frankly improbable by June, and getting it there is the good part of the job. The mountains keep whatever weather they please; the yards still get their turn.
