About By The Yard Lawn Care

In late June the light over the Mendenhall Valley refuses to quit — you can still see the far end of a yard at eleven at night, the glacier holding its blue behind the trees. By The Yard Lawn Care spends those long evenings mowing and string-trimming the wide valley lots out toward Dredge Lake and the bends of Duck Creek. Every visit finishes with an edge run along the walk, so the line between grass and gravel is a line again instead of a suggestion. When autumn turns, the same route becomes raking down what the cottonwoods let go and carrying it off by the load. A yard that stays kept from breakup to freeze-up is worth the standing appointment.
