Dave's Killer Tree Service

About Dave's Killer Tree Service

At forty below, Fairbanks goes quiet in a particular way: ice fog hangs over the streets, exhaust lingers in the air as frost, and every parked truck trails an extension cord to its block heater. Dave's Killer Tree Service takes on snow in that deep Interior cold, when the powder is so dry it squeaks underfoot and the midday sun barely lifts above the southern horizon. Interior snow falls light but often, and a drive left alone between storms soon becomes a project. Dave's keeps the way open from truck to door, banks stacked neat, paths scraped down so boots can grip. In a town where the solstice day lasts under four hours, coming home to a clear driveway in the dark is its own small warmth.
