Chena Lawn Care

About Chena Lawn Care

The Chena River bends through town slow and silty, and the yards that back onto it green up early, fed by the damp air off the water. Chena Lawn Care mows those riverside lots and the neighborhoods that climb away from them, keeping pace with grass that grows all night in the summer light. There is a particular pleasure in the final pass along a bank — the lawn ending in a clean line right where the willows begin. Trimming and edging finish the picture; the mower alone never quite does it. From the sloughs near the water out toward the higher ground, it is one bright, hurried season, and it is spent well.
