About Little Chena Tree Company LLC

Late August turns the birch and aspen around College the color of a struck match, and the yards underneath fill with leaves faster than anyone expects. Little Chena Tree Company LLC keeps them in hand — mowing through the drop, tidying the ragged seam where lawn gives way to brush, clearing the leaf litter off the turf before it mats down. The grass here runs in and out of tree shade near Ballaine Lake and up the roads toward the Goldstream side, so no two lots want the same cut. Coaxing a shaded yard to come out even takes patience, and it shows when it's done. Then the light goes low and gold, and the whole street looks put away for the season.
