Gage Tree Service

About Gage Tree Service

Anchorage is a city that hauls snow downtown on purpose, trucking it onto Fourth Avenue each March so sled dogs have a trail for the Iditarod's ceremonial start. Everywhere else, people want it gone, and Gage Tree Service obliges, clearing drives and walks after a storm has swept through. A tree company knows how heavy snow really is, having watched birch limbs bow and spruce boughs sag under a single wet night's load. That respect for weight shapes the work on the ground, with snow moved cleanly and piled where it won't creep back across the drive. When the sky clears and the cold tightens, the paths stay open and the morning starts without a shovel in hand.
