About Coldfoot Environmental Services Inc

By three in the afternoon in midwinter Anchorage, the light is already turning blue, and across Cook Inlet the long reclining profile of Sleeping Lady fades into a steel-colored sky. Coldfoot Environmental Services Inc works snow through that early dusk, while out on the inlet the ice pans ride in and out with the tide. Snow here can arrive heavy and wet off the water or fine and dry behind a cold snap, and each kind asks for its own handling. The aim never changes: driveways and paved areas scraped clean, banks pushed back far enough to hold the next storm, footing that stays sound when the temperature drops after dark. When the streetlights blink on, the work is already showing.
