About Be Happy Property Services

Floatplanes lift off Lake Hood all summer, one after another, and the Spenard blocks beneath them keep their own cheerful patchwork of yards. Be Happy Property Services takes the small things seriously — the mow, the edge, the trim around the mailbox post and the shed corner nobody else bothers with. Anchorage summers are brief and enormously generous, nineteen hours of light and everything racing, so a weekly rhythm is the only thing that keeps a lawn from going shaggy overnight. May's cleanup clears the grit and thatch; September's clears the birch leaves before they all let go in one week. It is plain yard work, done so a place looks glad to be lived in.
