International Airport Road doesn't really sleep — cargo runs through Ted Stevens all night, and the businesses lined up along that corridor and Tudor Road need their lots open before the first shift changes, which is the whole reason KwiK PloW built its routes around speed rather than anything scenic. The trucks move fast and low along the corridor in the dead hours before dawn, clearing loading docks and employee lots back to back with barely a pause between them. There's no time here for a second look at a tricky corner; the routes are planned tight enough that each stop gets exactly what it needs and no more. Streetlights and runway lights are about the only light there is at that hour, the Chugach just a black shape somewhere off to the east. By the time the corridor's first trucks are loading for the day, the lots behind them are already clear.
