The Eagle River valley wakes up cold and blue, and by December the plow is moving long before first light finds the ridgeline. Snow and Grass LLC takes both halves of that year: driveways and walkways opened through winter around Eagle River, Chugiak and Peters Creek, then mowing, trimming and edging once the valley greens up in May. Summer here comes on fast and wet, so the cut stays on schedule and the fence lines stay clipped. Fall cleanups clear the cottonwood and birch litter that would otherwise sit buried until April. Two seasons, one standard — an open drive in the dark, a crisp edge in the light.
