About Alaska Yard & Property Services LLC

Some morning in late August the Chugach wakes up wearing termination dust, and everyone on the Hillside reads the calendar off the mountain. Alaska Yard & Property Services LLC works those long slopes above O'Malley and Huffman, where lots run deep and the grass climbs against gravity: mowing, trimming, edging, brush and debris cleanups, and the fertilizing and overseeding that thicken turf before the light starts leaving. Properties up here need attention at the margins too — the driveway shoulders, the ditch line, the ragged edge where a yard gives way to birch and devil's club. Crews take the whole parcel rather than just the flat part, which is the difference between a mowed lawn and a kept place. On a clear evening, with Flattop turning gold above the last pass, the work looks like exactly what it is.
