Paul's Tree Service

About Paul's Tree Service

At Alcan Border the land carries its own property line: a cleared swath cut ruler-straight through the black spruce along the 141st meridian, Alaska on one side and Yukon on the other. Paul's Tree Service works in country that knows exactly what a clean cut looks like. Spruce grows slow and spindly over the permafrost here, and a yard won from it stays open only with steady attention to the grass and the trees that ring it. Through the brief, blazing summer, Paul's keeps lawns mown and the forest edge held back, so a home sits in its own patch of sky. It is lawn care with a woodsman's eye for line.
